Nephrite is, besides Jadeite, one of the two types of stone that are called Jade. Nephrite has a somewhat more fibrous structure than Jade but belongs to the Jade family.

Nephrite is a cleansing and protective stone and brings the various systems of the body into balance. It is a very healing stone that is very good for the kidneys and helps against kidney stones and gallstones. It is also a stone that helps with bedwetting.
